TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Workshops werden georganiseerd tijdens de vergadering van de stuurgroep Bio-ethiek van de Raad van Europa in november 2001 en tijdens het Forum Bled in december 2001, waar het IPTS-[46]initiatief “Enlargement Futures project” aan de ministers werd gepresenteerd.

With regard to the technical possibilities, the European Parliament points out that a synthesis report drawn up in May 2002 by the IPTS - JRC on scenarios for coexistence of genetically modified, conventional and organic crops shows that the generalised marketing of GMOs on a European scale would involve very heavy socio-economic costs which would be difficult for the farming industry to deal with and overcome.
