TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Op grond van dit mandaat heeft de CEPT op 8 november 2013 een verslag (CEPT-verslag 49) over de technische voorwaarden van de spectrumharmonisatie voor terrestrische draadloze systemen in de 3 400-3 800 MHz-frequentieband uitgebracht.
In response to that mandate, on 8 November 2013 the CEPT issued a report (CEPT Report 49) on the technical conditions of spectrum harmonisation for terrestrial wireless systems in the 3 400-3 800 MHz frequency band.

2. De Commissie en de lidstaten zorgen ervoor dat normalisatie-instanties, de CEPT en het Centrum voor Gemeenschappelijk Onderzoek van de Commissie waar nodig op technisch gebied nauw samenwerken om het efficiënt gebruik van het spectrum te waarborgen.
2. The Commission and Member States shall ensure that standardisation bodies, CEPT and the Commission's Joint Research Centre closely cooperate in any technical issue whenever necessary to ensure the efficient use of spectrum.

(9) Het programma dient tevens rekening te houden met Beschikking nr. 676/2002/EG en de technische deskundigheid van de Europese Conferentie van PTT-administraties (CEPT) zodat in het kader van door het Parlement en de Raad bekrachtigde spectrumafhankelijk beleid van de Unie technische uitvoeringsmaatregelen ten uitvoer kunnen worden gelegd, waarbij moet worden aangetekend dat voor de uitvoering van het bestaande EU-beleid dergelijke maatregelen steeds kunnen worden genomen wanneer dat noodzakelijk is.
(9) The programme should also take into account Decision No 676/2002/EC and the technical expertise of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) so that Union policies which rely on spectrum and were agreed by Parliament and Council can be implemented by technical implementing measures, noting that such measures can be taken whenever necessary to implement already existing Union policies.

(6) Het programma dient tevens rekening te houden met Beschikking nr. 676/2002/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 7 maart 2002 inzake een regelgevingskader voor het radiospectrumbeleid in de Europese Gemeenschap (Radiospectrumbeschikking) en de technische deskundigheid van de Europese Conferentie van PTT-administraties (CEPT) zodat in het kader van door het Parlement en de Raad bekrachtigde spectrumafhankelijk EU-beleid technische uitvoeringsmaatregelen ten uitvoer kunnen worden gelegd, waarbij moet worden aangetekend dat voor de uitvoering van het bestaande EU-beleid dergelijke maatregelen steeds kunnen worden genomen wanneer dat noodzakelijk is.

De CEPT (Europese Conferentie van Post- en Telecommunicatieadministraties, die 44 Europese landen omvat) zou als waarnemer bij de werkzaamheden van de groep moeten worden uitgenodigd, gezien de impact van de activiteiten van de groep op radiospectrum op pan-Europees niveau en gezien de technische expertise waarover de CEPT en de daaronder vallende organen op het gebied van radiospectrumbeheer beschikken.

It drafts technical harmonisation measures with the objective of harmonising the use of radio spectrum beyond the Community borders, which is particularly important for those Member States where the use of radio spectrum may be affected by that of the non-EU members of CEPT.

2. Voor de ontwikkeling van de in lid 1 bedoelde technische uitvoeringsmaatregelen die onder de bevoegdheid van de CEPT vallen, zoals de harmonisatie van de radiofrequentietoewijzing en de beschikbaarheid van informatie, verstrekt de Commissie mandaten aan de CEPT, waarin de uit te voeren taken en een tijdschema daarvoor worden vastgelegd.

For the development of technical implementing measures referred to in paragraph 1 which fall within the remit of the CEPT, such as the harmonisation of radio frequency allocation and of information availability, the Commission shall issue mandates to the CEPT, setting out the tasks to be performed and the timetable therefor.
