Bei der Verordnung zur Implementierung der bilateralen Schutzklausel im Freihandelsabkommen zwischen der EU und Korea handelt es sich um einen sehr wichtigen Rechtsakt, was nicht nur darauf zurückführen ist, dass er der EU-Industrie gegebenenfalls den erforderlichen Schutz bietet, sondern auch auf die Tatsache, dass dies das erste Handelsdossier ist, in das das Europäische Parlament als Mitgesetzgeber involviert ist.
