La Commission a utilisé les informations provenant des données disponibles publiées par les ORGP, notamment la CICTA, la CCAMLR, la WCPFC, la CPANE, l’OPANO et l’OPASE, soit sous la forme de rapports de conformité, soit sous la forme de listes des navires INN, ainsi que des informations publiques issues du rapport NMFS et du rapport technique final intitulé «Support to the implementation of the FCWC regional plan of action on IUU fishing» (Soutien à la mise en œuvre du plan d’action régional du FCWC sur la pêche INN), publié par le FCWC.
De Commissie heeft gebruikgemaakt van beschikbare informatie die hetzij in de vorm van nalevingsverslagen, hetzij in de vorm van IOO-vaartuigenlijsten is bekendgemaakt door ROVB’s (met name ICCAT, CCAMLR), WCPFC, NEAFC, NAFO en SEAFO), van openbaar beschikbare gegevens uit het NMFS-rapport, en van gegevens uit het door FCWC bekendgemaakte technische slotverslag inzake steun voor de tenuitvoerlegging van het regionale actieplan van FCWC inzake IOO-visserij („Support to the implementation of the FCWC regional plan of action on IUU fishing”).

During the high level meeting in Bamako, "the Parties agreed to support the creation by le Mali of the Migration Information and Management Centre". The general objective is the definition and implementation by Mali of a migratory policy adapted to the regional and European policies and dynamics. The specific objective is the setting up of the Migration Information and Management Centre which will implement and coordinate the various elements of Mali's migration policy. The expected results are (i) definition and implementation of an information and communication strategy on the legal conditions for migration and the prevention of irregular migration, (ii) putting in place a mechanism for welcoming, orientating and accompanying potential migrants (iii) putting in place a service for welcoming, orientating and accompanying returnees (iv) productively using the human, financial and technical capital lof the diaspora (v) knowledge and analysis of the migratory flows of relevance to Mali (vi) coordination of the various hierarchical structures so that they can properly steer the above-mentioned components.

Dit punt werd aangesneden tijdens de 59 Algemene Vergadering van september 2005 in de reflectie over de versterking van de Verenigde Naties en de coherentie van het systeem en opgenomen in de resolutie in Hoofdstuk V, punt 169: `We support stronger system-wide coherence by implementing the following measures: (...).

It stresses in this context that its support for reconstruction and the development of longer term relations between the countries of the region and the EU will be subject to the satisfactory implementation of these conditions, including notably respect for human rights, minority rights and the right to return of all refugees and displaced persons as well as of the conditions to ensure the regional economic and political co-operation essential to secure the objectives of the EU's assistance and co- operation policies.
De EU zal alles in het werk stellen om de tenuitvoerlegging van deze verbintenis te waarborgen. Zij benadrukt in deze context dat haar steun voor de wederopbouw en de ontwikkeling van de betrekkingen op lange termijn tussen de landen van de regio en de EU afhankelijk is van een bevredigende tenuitvoerlegging van deze voorwaarden, met inbegrip van met name de mensenrechten, de rechten van minderheden en het recht op terugkeer van alle vluchtelingen en ontheemden, en van de voorwaarden die nodig zijn om te zorgen voor een regionale economische en politieke samenwerking, die essentieel is om de doelstellingen van het steun- en samenwerkingsbeleid van de EU zeker te verwezenlijken.
