1. The Strategic Partnership between the EU, Latin America and the Caribbean - which will be celebrating this year its 10th anniversary - is articulated on the following objectives: intense political dialogue, the strengthening of democratic governance and the respect of human rights, support to integration processes including the establishment of a network of association agreements, and extensive cooperation to reduce poverty, social inequalities and improve educational levels.
1. Het strategische partnerschap tussen de EU, Latijns-Amerika en het Caribisch gebied – dat dit jaar zijn tienjarig jubileum viert – is gegrondvest op de volgende beginselen: intensieve politieke dialoog, versterking van democratisch bestuur en eerbiediging van de mensenrechten, ondersteuning van integratieprocessen, met inbegrip van de totstandbrenging van een vlechtwerk van associatieovereenkomsten, en omvattende samenwerking ter vermindering van armoede en sociale ongelijkheid en ter verhoging van opleidingsniveaus.

Le contrat conclu pour ce projet avec l'UNICEF “planning and improvement of social services at regional level”dans les régions de Vidin et Pernik) sera bientôt finalisé.
Het contract met Unicef voor dit project “ planning and improvement of social services at regional level” in de regio’s Vidin en Pernik) zal weldra worden gefinaliseerd.

It will further contribute to a more equitable distribution of primary school physical facilities, and improve the quality of primary level education through an improved learning environment.
Voorts zal het project bijdragen tot een rechtvaardigere verdeling van de materiële voorzieningen voor de basisscholen, en wordt dank zij een beter studieklimaat de kwaliteit van het basisonderwijs verbeterd.
