Les produits cosmétiques sont soumis à l’arrêté royal du 15 octobre 1997 qui limite notamment certains ingrédients afin de garantir la sécurité du consommateur et qui impose la constitution d’un dossier de sécurité (safety assessment) qui évalue de manière scientifique la sécurité du produit fini.
