- (EN) Monsieur le Président, la commission de l’emploi et des affaires sociales aurait préféré que l’achèvement du marché intérieur des services postaux fasse l’objet d’une nouvelle étude prospective montrant que le service universel pouvait être maintenu dans chaque État membre et examinant comment maintenir ou améliorer la situation de l’emploi dans le secteur postal.
– Mr President, the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs would have preferred to make the full accomplishment of the postal internal market subject to a new prospective study, showing that universal service could be maintained in each Member State, and looking at how to maintain or improve the employment situation in the postal sector.
