Quelles mesures le Conseil envisage-t-il de prendre pour répondre aux exigences des consommateurs européens concernant la protection de la santé publique, l'information exhaustive du citoyen (grâce à un étiquetage mentionnant explicitement la présence d'OGM dans certaines préparations), la chasse aux importations interdites et l'ouverture de poursuites contre les entreprises qui procèdent à ces importations ou qui s'en servent et, enfin, l'interdiction de l'emploi d'OGM dans la chaîne alimentaire ?
Will the Council say what measures it intends to take to satisfy the demands of European consumers that public health be protected, that consumers be fully informed with a clear indication of the use of genetically modified organisms in products, that imports of banned products and the companies importing them or using the products be subject to prosecution and finally, that the introduction of modified products in the food chain be prohibited?
