Pour 1994 et les années suivantes, la Commission européenne se concentrera sur 4 objectifs complémentaires : 1. participation aux frais de démarrage de l'administration palestinienne, indiqués au tableau V; 2. fourniture de l'assistance technique relative aux moyens matériels et financiers indispensables à la mise en place des institutions gouvernementales palestiniennes; (1) 1 ECU = 1,153 US dollar 3. à court terme, priorité à des projets dans les domaines suivants : logement, crédit et aides aux entreprises, élimination des déchets solides, égouts, hôpital de Gaza, construction de salles de classe, de même qu'à un projet en faveur de détenus relâchés et à un projet de soutien de la force de police palestinienne; 4. à moyen terme, amélioration des infrastructures économiques et sociales, télécommunications, routes, électricité; implantations industrielles.. Tous les projets relevant du programme de l'Union européenne sont élaborés en consultation avec des institutions palestiniennes lorsqu'elles existent.
For 1994 and in subsequent years, the European Commission will focus on four complementary aims: 1. participating in the start up costs of the Palestinian administration, indicated in Table V; 2. providing the technical assistance for the technical and financial machinery essential to the establishment of Palestinian governmental institutions. 1 1 ECU = 1,153 US dollars 3. in the short-term to focus on projects in the fields of housing, credit and assistance for businesses, solid waste removal, sewage, Gaza hospital, classroom construction, a project for released detainees and a project to support the Palestinian police force; 4. in the medium-term to improve economic and social infrastructure, telecommunications, roads, electricity; industrial estates.. All projects under the European Union programme are formulated in consultation with Palestinian institutions where they exist.
