Med Campus Development cooperation activities involving universities and higher education establishments in the European Union and the Mediterranean non-member countries (MNCs)[1] The Med Campus programme, a decentralized cooperation instrument, is intended to give EU Mediterranean policy added impetus in implementing a Euro-Mediterranean partnership. Achieving a more equitable socio-economic balance in the region requires more efficient use of human resources and greater involvement of civil society. Med Campus is a specific programme of action to encourage the European Union and Mediterranean non-member countries to become increasingly involved in a process of interaction, interdependence and mutual association.
