Néanmoins, je pense qu’il existe beaucoup d’autres écotechnologies extrêmement importantes qui ne sont pas intégrées de manière systématique et qui ne sont pas traitées identiquement au sein des projets de recherche de l’Union européenne: la conservation des ressources existantes et la lutte contre les catastrophes en constituent des exemples.
Nevertheless, I believe that there are many other extremely important environmental technologies that are not integrated in a systematic manner and that are not treated in the same way within the European Union's research projects: examples are conservation of existing resources and combating disasters.

La communication de la Commission relative à un plan d’action en faveur des écotechnologies constitue une tentative de montrer la voie dans laquelle l’Union européenne et ses États membres devraient s’engager afin de concrétiser de nouvelles intuitions et des idées réalisables, et elle montrera également comment nous pourrions créer des perspectives d’un marché impartial et compétitif pour les innovations éco-efficaces.
The Commission’s communication on an environmental technologies action plan is an attempt to show the direction in which the EU and its Member States should be moving for new insights and feasible ideas to come into being, and it will also show how we might create impartial and competitive market prospects for eco-efficient innovations.
