J’ai le sentiment - un sentiment que Mme Wallström vient également d’exprimer - que l’angoisse est souvent la plus mauvaise conseillère au sein de ce Parlement, que nous prescrivons tant et tant, avec forces détails, à tel point que nous finissons par jeter le bébé avec l’eau du bain alors que nous devrions être satisfaits du grand nombre d’accords conclus.
I feel – and this has just been expressed by Mrs Wallström – that anxiety is often the worst adviser in this Parliament, that we prescribe so much and that we are becoming so detailed that we are in the process of throwing the baby out with the bathwater, although we should be pleased with the large number of agreements there are.
