It's important that the committee understand that revealing details of any ongoing investigations, whether those pertain to organized crime or national security, can compromise ongoing investigations, can compromise the privacy rights of individuals who are identified, and can really lead to a loss of credibility in terms of the foreign nations that share information with us.
