Conformément à l’article 7, paragraphe 3, point a bis), du règlement (CE) no 562/2006 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 15 mars 2006 établissant un code communautaire relatif au régime de franchissement des frontières par les personnes (code frontières Schengen) , à compter du vingtième jour qui suit la date d’entrée en fonctionnement du VIS dans la première région, la vérification approfondie à l’entrée doit comprendre la vérification de l’identité du titulaire du visa et l’authenticité du visa par la consultation du VIS.
In accordance with Article 7(3) (aa) of Regulation (EC) No 562/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2006 establishing a Community Code on the rules governing the movement of persons across borders (Schengen Borders Code) , from the 20th day following the date of start of operations of the VIS in the first region, the thorough checks on entry are to comprise the verification of the identity of the visa holder and of the authenticity of the visa, by consulting the VIS.
