Wine produced from the grapes harvested in the Czech Republic territory, which are suitable for quality wine production in the specific region, or from the varieties which are introduced in the list of varieties in the implementing legal regulation, it can be labelled only with the geographical indication laid down by the implementing legal regulation; for producing the wine with geographical indication can be used only the grapes, of which the wine was produced, and whose reached the sugar content 14° NM at least and were harvested in the geographical unit, which bears the geographical indication according to this paragraph and complies with the requirements regarding to the quality laid down by the implementing legal regulation; use of the name of other geographical unit that which is introduced in the implementing legal regulation is banned.

Les États membres qui ne sont pas encore en mesure d’établir la distinction entre les superficies plantées en vignes destinée à la production de vins avec indication géographique et celles qui sont plantées en vignes destinées à la production de vins sans indication géographique sont invités à indiquer dans leur première communication un chiffre global regroupant l’ensemble des vins de table pour la campagne vitivinicole 2007/2008 et à transmettre, pour le 31 décembre 2009 au plus tard, un tableau actualisé présentant séparément les données correspondant aux deux catégories de vins de table.
Member States which cannot differentiate between the area under vines for the production of table wines with geographical indication and table wines without geographical indications at this time may send a single figure for all the table wines for the 2007/2008 wine year in their first communication and send an updated table by 31 December 2009 at the latest with the division between these two table wine categories.
