Condemns the violence against the Coptic community and the destruction of a large number of churches, community centres and businesses throughout the country; expresses concern that the authorities failed to take adequate security measures to protect the Coptic community in spite of many warnings; points to the historical pluralism of Egyptian society and the centuries-old tradition of the Egyptian Coptic community; asks the Egyptian Government to support the Coptic community in every possible way, so that the Egyptian Coptic community can continue to be an important part of Egypt’s social and economic fabric and that peaceful cohabitation with the other communities of Egypt can quickly be restored;

Mais cela nous a fait réaliser à quel point il était nécessaire d'élargir le spectre de nos actions et non pas se limiter seulement à la communauté juridique comme telle qui constitue notre premier intermédiaire vers la communauté qui a besoin de recourir au système de justice, car il faut aussi se rappeler que ce ne sont pas tous les citoyens des communautés de langue officielle en situation minoritaire qui se retrouvent en contact avec le système de justice.
But this made us realize how necessary it was to expand the range of our actions, not to limit ourselves to the legal community as such, which is the first intermediary between us and the community which needs to use the justice system because it should also be kept in mind that not all citizens from the official language minority communities are in contact with the justice system.

Recognises that a large proportion of the children in care are from the Roma community and that more effective and substantive action is required to overcome barriers between the Roma community and the wider society; recognises that this is more than a question of discrimination and is in fact a two way process; acknowledges therefore the government's new Roma action plan, which has a noteworthy budgetary allocation; encourages the government to persevere in its policy to promote the integration of the Roma community into wider Bulgarian society; urges the Bulgarian authorities and the Commission to target their efforts on practical schemes that can deliver substantive improvement, in particular in relation to the education of Roma women in family planning and problems of child welfare and also Bulgarian language competence in the Roma community; welcomes the recent practice of recruiting Roma to the police and calls on the government to persevere in this effort; at the same time calls on the representatives of the Roma community to identify social and structural problems in the Roma community's way of life and to assist in implementing measures to bring about change within the Roma community that will facilitate Roma integration into wider Bulgarian society;
