Il a réaffirmé qu'il verrait très volontiers une Namibie indépendante, qui pourrait être aussi le dixième membre de la SADCC, dans le groupe des pays ACP liés à la Communauté européenne par la convention de Lomé.
Vice-President Marín reiterated that he would welcome an independent Namibia in the ACP group of countries linked together with the European Community through the Lomé Convention as much as the 10th member of SADCC.
