At its 26th session, which is due to take place from 27 February to 1 March 2018, the Revision Committee is expected to decide upon certain amendments to the COTIF Convention as well as to certain Appendices thereto, namely Appendices E (Uniform Rules concerning the Contract of Use of Infrastructure in International Rail Traffic — CUI), F (Uniform Rules concerning the Validation of Technical Standards and the Adoption of Uniform Technical Prescriptions applicable to Railway Material intended to be used in International Traffic — APTU) and G (Uniform Rules concerning the Technical Admission of Railway Material used in International Traffic — ATMF).

4. Lorsqu’un contrat de licence conclu avec un prestataire de service réseau de T2S prend fin avant le terme prévu mais après la réussite de la validation de principe, un contrat de licence peut, au choix du comité pour le programme T2S, soit être proposé au participant à la procédure de sélection classé juste en dessous des participants sélectionnés, soit être attribué à un autre prestataire de service réseau après une nouvelle procédure de sélection à mener par la banque centrale mandatée ou par une autre banque centrale de l’Eurosystème désignée par le conseil des gouverneurs.
4. Where a licence agreement with a T2S network service provider is terminated before the end of its duration, but after the successful performance of the proof of concept, at the T2S Programme Board’s discretion, a licence agreement may either be offered to the participant in the selection procedure that ranked next highest in the ranking list after the selected participants, or be awarded to another network service provider following a new selection procedure to be carried out by the mandated central bank or by another Eurosystem central bank appointed by the Governing Council.
