Le 17 février 2012, la Commission a reçu notification, conformément à l’article 4 du règlement (CE) no 139/2004 du Conseil (1), d’un projet de concentration par lequel l'entreprise Universal Music Holdings Limited, filiale à part entière d’Universal International Music B.V («Universal», Pays-Bas), elle-même contrôlée par Vivendi SA («Vivendi», France), acquiert, au sens de l'article 3, paragraphe 1, point b), du règlement CE sur les concentrations, le contrôle des activités «musique enregistrée» d’EMI Group Global Limited («EMI RM», Royaume-Uni) par achat d'actions.
On 17 February 2012, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which Universal Music Holdings Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Universal International Music B.V (‘Universal’, Netherlands), controlled by Vivendi SA (‘Vivendi’, France), acquires within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Merger Regulation control of the recorded music business of EMI Group Global Limited (‘EMI RM’, UK) by way of purchase of shares.
