– (HU) La proposition de résolution déposée par le groupe de l’Alliance progressiste des Socialistes et Démocrates au Parlement européen, le groupe de l’Alliance des démocrates et des libéraux pour l’Europe et le groupe des Verts, ainsi que par le groupe confédéral de la Gauche unitaire européenne contient aussi plusieurs déclarations non fondées, voire inacceptables.
– (HU) The motion for a resolution tabled by the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, the Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe and the Group of the Greens, as well as the Confederal Group of the European United Left also contains several unfounded and even unacceptable statements.

J’ai décidé de m’abstenir du vote sur cette proposition de résolution parce qu’elle contient un aspect fondamental auquel je suis opposé et que le groupe confédéré de la Gauche unitaire européenne / Gauche verte nordique a tenté en vain de modifier.
I opted to abstain from this particular motion for a resolution because it includes a basic point to which I am opposed and which the Confederal Group of the European United Left – Nordic Green Left tried, unsuccessfully, to change.

– (PT) The resolution tabled by the Confederal Group of the European United Left – Nordic Green Left concerns important aspects of our appraisal of the College of Commissioners presented to this Parliament, and also summarises some of the fundamental reasons for our vote against this Commission: the presentation of a programme by the President of the Commission – to which the Commissioners will naturally feel linked and which they defended without any reservations in the hearings which took place in Parliament – which represents the continuation of the failed neoliberal policy of the previous Commission; and the fact that this team has been chosen to carry out this programme, following a strategy which will not result in the necessary changes in political orientation, in the sense of providing greater social justice, job creation and eradication of poverty, but instead contains dangerous elements that will exacerbate these serious problems.

Comme l’a souligné la proposition de résolution déposée par le groupe de la Gauche unitaire européenne, la conception de la politique européenne de sécurité telle que définie dans le traité contient une importante dimension militaire et pose les bases d’une étroite collaboration avec l’OTAN et d’un accroissement des efforts militaires des États membres.
As highlighted in the motion for a resolution tabled by the Group of the European United Left, the conception of a European security policy in the Treaty contains a major military dimension, and provides for close cooperation with NATO and an increase in Member States’ military efforts.
