4. Un ajustement des règles actuellement applicables à tous les États membres hormis le Royaume-Uni, l’Irlande, la Finlande, Malte et la Suède, en accord avec les consultations des États membres et les avis de l’EFSA, suivi d’un retrait des conditions spécifiques appliquées par les cinq États membres considérés, serait dans l’intérêt de tous les citoyens de l’UE qui se déplacent dans l'espace communautaire et à l'étranger avec leurs animaux de compagnie, tout en renforçant la sécurité de ces déplacements.
4. Adjustment of the current rules applicable to all Member States, except the UK, Ireland, Finland, Malta and Sweden, in line with the consultations of the Member States and the EFSA opinions, and subsequent withdrawal of the specific conditions applied by those five Member States would benefit all EU citizens when travelling with their pets throughout EU territory and abroad while enhancing the safety of these pet movements.
