En collaboration avec le Dr Jeff Wrana, chercheur principal à l'institut de recherche Samuel Lunenfeld de l'hôpital Mount Sinai, le Dr Zlotta espère mettre au point un outil permettant de distinguer les tumeurs envahissantes des tumeurs non envahissantes, dans le cancer de la vessie.
In association with Dr. Jeff Wrana, senior investigator at the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute at Mount Sinai Hospital, they hopefully will develop a tool to distinguish aggressive from non-aggressive bladder cancer tumours, or to put it in other words, a tool to " distinguish pussycats from tigers" .
