Notes that, owing to the current crisis, there are a number of key priorities of the Community Lisbon Programme, the implementation of which should be pursued by the European institutions with increased urgency: promoting regional and local competitiveness and adhering to the rules of competition legislation, as well as promoting consumer policies to make markets more efficient and equitable, taking advantage of the Single Market, particularly in retailing and services; frontloading the implementation of the Small Business Act, in particular the rapid adoption and implementation of the Late Payment Directive and the Statute for Private Company; moving forward quickly with the implementation of the European Research Area and the 'fifth freedom' proposals to improve the free circulation of knowledge and innovation by boosting knowledge transfer within the scope of education, RD and industrial production; the adoption of the cost-effective Community Patent and EU-wide Patent Court system, which would significantly improve the competitiveness of European businesses, facilitating companies' access to financing and stimulating innovation;

S’agissant des critiques publiques du lobby, selon moi, l’affirmation selon laquelle l’introduction d’un tribunal du brevet communautaire au sens de l’EPLA faciliterait le brevetage de logiciel est, c’est le moins que l’on puisse dire, idiote.

Le tribunal national saisi d'une action ou demande autre que celles visées à l'article 30 et relative à un brevet communautaire doit tenir ce brevet pour valide à moins que son invalidité ait été déclarée par le tribunal communautaire de propriété intellectuelle dans une décision ayant force de chose jugée.
