Mme Laurendeau : L'idée était qu'en tant que partenaire égal, ayant une obligation à respecter et devant utiliser le processus de négociation et le processus démocratique, il serait inopportun, voire même illogique, qu'à l'issue du processus l'agent négociateur puisse véritablement contester une chose qu'il a contribué à élaborer, de bonne foi, et avec le travail préparatoire adéquat.
Ms. Laurendeau: The thinking is that as a joint partner in having the obligation to achieve and use the bargaining process and the democratic process, as an equal partner, it would be inappropriate if not illogical that, at the end of the process, the bargaining agent could actually challenge something it participated in developing in good faith and with proper preparatory work.
