Le transport international de marchandises dangereuses est réglementé par l’accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises dangereuses par route (ADR)*, l’accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises dangereuses par voies de navigation intérieures (ADN)* et le règlement concernant le transport international ferroviaire des marchandises dangereuses (RID)*.
The international transport of dangerous goods is regulated by the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR)*, the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN)* and the Regulations concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID)*.

S'il y a lieu, des informations doivent être données sur la classification pour le transport correspondant à chacun des règlements types des Nations unies, à savoir: l'accord européen relatif au transport international de marchandises dangereuses par route (ADR) (7), le règlement concernant le transport international ferroviaire des marchandises dangereuses (RID) (8), l'accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises par voies de navigation intérieures (ADN) (9), tous trois mis en œuvre par la directive 2008/68/CE du Parlement européen et du Conseil (10), le code maritime international des marchandises dangereuses (IMDG) (11) (mer), et les instructions techniques pour la sécurité du transport aérien des marchandises dangereuses (OACI) (12) (air).
Where relevant, this section shall provide information on the transport classification for each of the UN Model Regulations: the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) (7), the Regulations concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID) (8) and the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN) (9), all three of which have been implemented by Directive 2008/68/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (10), as well as the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code (11) (sea) and the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (ICAO) (12) (air).

The Revision Committee set up in accordance with point (c) of Article 13(1) of the COTIF Convention, at its 25th session due to take place from 25 to 27 June 2014, is expected to decide upon certain amendments to the COTIF Convention as well as to certain Appendices thereto, namely Appendices B (Uniform Rules concerning the Contract of International Carriage of Goods by Rail — CIM), D (Uniform Rules concerning Contracts of Use of Vehicles in International Rail Traffic — CUV), E (Uniform Rules concerning the Contract of Use of Infrastructure in International Rail Traffic — CUI), F (Uniform Rules concerning the Validation of Technical Standards and the Adoption of Uniform Technical Prescriptions applicable to Railway Material intended to be used in International Traffic — APTU) and G (Uniform Rules concerning the Technical Admission of Railway Material used in International Traffic — ATMF).

Tout transport de matières radioactives a lieu dans le respect des règles et normes internationales énoncées par la CEE-ONU concernant les marchandises dangereuses et polluantes, ainsi que de l'accord correspondant relatif au transport international des marchandises dangereuses par route, du règlement concernant le transport international ferroviaire des marchandises dangereuses et de l'accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises dangereuses par voies de navigation intérieures, tels que définis dans la directive 2008/68/CE relative au transport intérieur des marchandises dangereuses.
5b. Any transport of radioactive materials shall be conducted in accordance with the international rules and standards set by UNECE on dangerous and polluting goods, as well as the corresponding Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), the Regulations concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID), and the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN), as defined in Directive 2008/68/EC on the inland transport of dangerous goods.

(2) Transports of radioactive materials should, as transports of all other dangerous goods, be conducted in compliance with the international rules on dangerous and polluting goods, as well as the corresponding Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), the Regulations concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID), and the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN), as defined in Directive 2008/68/EC on the inland transport of dangerous goods;

Any transport of radioactive materials shall comply with the international rules and standards set by UNECE on dangerous and polluting goods, as well as the corresponding European Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), the Regulations concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID), and the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN), as defined in Directive 2008/68/EC.

4. Considers that, for the purpose of international trade and the transport of hydrocarbons in the region, it is essential to develop EU Black Sea and maritime Danube port infrastructures and intermodal transport arrangements and calls on the Commission and the Member States to accelerate the realisation of priority trans-European transport projects along axes 7, 18, 21 and 22 referred to in Annex II of Decision 884/2004/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 amending Decision No 1692/96/EC on Community guidelines for the development of the trans-European transport network and their progressive integration with TRACECA, the central axis, the south-east axis and the international maritime transport connections referred to in the Commission communication to the Council and European Parliament 'Extension of the major trans-European transport axes to the neighbouring countries - Guidelines for transport in Europe and neighbouring regions (COM(2007)0032);
