14. souligne que les liaisons aériennes sont importantes pour le développement économique global des régions concernées, et invite les États membres et la Commission, en étroite collaboration avec les autorités régionales et locales, à promouvoir auprès des petits aéroports et des aéroports régionaux un transfert vers les transport ferroviaire pour les courtes distances, lorsque celles-ci représentent une durée de moins de cinq heures, au sein de l’Union, étant donné qu’il s’agit d’une autre manière de désencombrer des aéroports plus grands et pivots par des liaisons indirectes; invite la Commission, ainsi que les États membres, à présenter une stratégie européenne à long terme traitant des enjeux et des perspectives pour les aéroports régionaux dans le cadre de l'interconnexion aéroports-chemins de fer dans l'Union, qui doit être promue;
14. Highlights the fact that air transport connections are relevant for the overall economic development of the regions concerned, and asks the Member States and the Commission, in close collaboration with the regional and local authorities, to highlight the importance of small and regional airports shifting shorter flight distances onto rail when these distances are shorter than five hours’ travelling time within the Union, as this is another way of decongesting larger and hub airports through indirect connections; calls on the Commission, together with the Member States, to present an EU long-term strategic plan addressing the challenges and opportunities of regional airports in the context of airport and rail interconnectivity inside the EU, as air-rail connectivity should be promoted;

Tout transporteur aérien transportant du fret ou du courrier en provenance d’un aéroport d’un pays tiers qui ne figure pas dans l’appendice 6-F, et destiné au transfert, au transit ou au déchargement dans tout aéroport entrant dans le champ d’application du règlement (CE) no 300/2008, doit être désigné comme “transporteur de fret ou de courrier aérien qui effectue des opérations à destination de l’Union au départ d’un aéroport d’un pays tiers” (ACC3):
Any air carrier carrying cargo or mail from an airport in a third country not listed in Attachment 6-F for transfer, transit or unloading at any airport falling within the scope of Regulation (EC) No 300/2008 shall be designated as an “Air Cargo or Mail Carrier operating into the Union from a Third Country Airport” (ACC3):

When, in the case where a town, city or region is served by several airports, an air carrier or tour operator offers a passenger a flight to an alternative airport to that for which the booking was made, the carrier or tour operator shall bear the cost of travelling from that alternative airport either to that for which the booking was made or to another close-by destination, agreed with the passenger.
