La commission de la recherche, du développement technologique et de l'énergie estime qu'une politique de coopération intensive, axée sur un développement durable des possibilités de la région et qui attache une grande attention à la sécurité ainsi qu'à la protection de l'environnement constitue la concrétisation d'un devoir moral de l'Union, qu'elle apportera le progrès et la stabilité en Transcaucasie et encouragera simultanément les intérêts politiques et économiques de l'Union européenne.
4. The Committee on Research, Technological Development and Energy takes the view than an intensive policy of cooperation directed towards lasting development of the region's potential and paying serious attention to safety and environment protection represents the discharge of an ethical obligation by the Union that will help to advance the cause of prosperity and stability in Transcaucasia and the same time promote the political and economic interests of the European Union.
