Lorsqu'une opération TIR sera effectuée par un véhicule routier ou par un ensemble de véhicules , une plaque rectangulaire portant l'inscription " TIR " et ayant les caractéristiques mentionnées à l'annexe 5 de la présente convention sera placée à l'avant , et une autre identique à l'arrière du véhicule routier ou de l'ensemble de véhicules .
When a road vehicle or combination of vehicles is carrying out a TIR operation, one rectangular plate bearing the inscription "TIR" and conforming to the specifications given in Annex 5 to this Convention shall be affixed to the front and another to the rear of the road vehicle or combination of vehicles.
