IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

«entreprise de pays tiers»: une entreprise de pays tiers au sens de l’article 4, paragraphe 1, point 57), de la directive 2014/65/UE.
‘third-country firm’ means a third-country firm as defined in Article 4(1)(57) of Directive 2014/65/EU.

1. 1. When calculating the group solvency of an insurance or reinsurance undertaking which is a participating undertaking in a third-country insurance or reinsurance undertaking, in accordance with Article 233, the third-country insurance or reinsurance undertaking shall, solely for the purposes of that calculation, be treated as a related insurance or reinsurance undertaking.

Periodically, the Commission shall draw up a report examining the treatment accorded to Community assurance undertakings in third countries, in the terms referred to in paragraphs 3 and 4, as regards establishment and the carrying-on of insurance activities, and the acquisition of holdings in third-country insurance undertakings.

3. La Commission établit, pour la première fois six mois au plus tard avant la mise en application de la présente directive et ensuite périodiquement, un rapport examinant le traitement, au sens des paragraphes 4 et 5, réservé dans les pays tiers aux entreprises d'investissement de la Communauté, en ce qui concerne l'établissement et l'exercice d'activités de services d'investissement, ainsi que les prises de participations dans des entreprises d'investissement de pays tiers.
3. Initially no later than six months before this Directive is brought into effect and thereafter periodically the Commission shall draw up a report examining the treatment accorded to Community investment firms in third countries, in the terms referred to in paragraphs 4 and 5, as regards establishment, the carrying on of investment services activities and the acquisition of holdings in third-country investment firms.
