La Présidence est convaincue que l’échange d’informations avec les États-Unis dans le cadre du TFTP nous permet de mieux nous protéger contre le terrorisme. Elle est également persuadée que nous arriverons à conclure un accord intérimaire - et ensuite, permanent - qui non seulement satisfera à nos exigences strictes en matière de protection des données mais respectera aussi les droits fondamentaux.
The Presidency is convinced that the exchange of information with the US within the framework of the TFTP increases protection from terrorism, and that we can achieve both an interim agreement and eventually a long-term agreement which not only meets our stringent requirements of data protection but which also respects fundamental rights.
