− (EN) Parmi les articles qui nous ont amenés à soutenir cette texte figure l’article 12 qui: salue l’initiative phare sur «Une Union pour l’innovation», qui est essentielle pour atteindre les objectifs de la stratégie «Europe 2020» car elle vise à relever les grands défis de société que sont la sécurité énergétique et la sécurité alimentaire, les changements climatiques, la santé et le vieillissement de la population; rappelle que l’objectif de 3 % s’entend comme une contribution de 2 % du secteur privé et une contribution de 1 % du secteur public; observe que les dépenses de recherche du secteur privé présentent encore de notables déficiences, auxquelles il ne peut être remédié que par une adaptation de l’environnement réglementaire des entreprises, notamment des PME; approuve par conséquent l’intention de la Commission d’améliorer les conditions générales dans lesquelles les entreprises pourront innover, en particulier sous l’angle des droits de propriété intellectuelle.
− Among the articles that brought us to support that text, is Article 12, which: welcomes the flagship initiative on 'Innovation Union' as a key driver to achieve Europe 2020 objectives, which addresses the major societal challenges like energy and food security, climate change, health and an ageing population; recalls that the 3% target is composed of a 2% (private expenditure) share and a 1% (public expenditure) share; notes that there are still particular shortcomings in the field of private research spending which can only be overcome by adapting the regulatory environment for companies, including SMEs and welcomes, therefore, the Commission's intention to improve framework conditions for business to innovate, in particular with respect to intellectual property rights.
