On new Clause ( 32.1 ) Gary Lunn moved, That Bill C-19 be amended by adding after line 37 on page 20 the following new clause: " 32.1 The Minister of Foreign Affairs or such other Minister as is designated by the Governor in Council for the purpose, shall obtain the text of all amendments to the Rome Statute, the Rules of Procedure and Evidence and all other rules and regulations, including amendments thereto, that may be made or ratified from time to time by the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute, and shall cause a copy to be tabled in each House of Parliament on any of the first fifteen days on which that House is sitting after the Minister receives it" .

In conclusion, I believe that the European Parliament should be satisfied with the final result of the conciliation, since the majority of our amendments have been incorporated, either fully, in a revised form or in spirit, into the joint text, and we therefore propose that this latter text be approved by the House at third reading.
