À la suite de l'attentat terroriste à Nice, les dirigeants de l'ASEM ont publié une déclaration conjointe sur le terrorisme international, présentant leurs condoléances aux victimes et à leurs familles, et réaffirmant leur détermination à approfondir la coopération: «Nous réaffirmons notre détermination à unir nos forces pour combattre ce fléau qu'est le terrorisme et nous insistons sur la nécessité de traduire en justice les responsables de ces attaques, conformément à la charte des Nations unies et aux autres obligations découlant du droit international».
Following the terrorist attack in Nice, the ASEM leaders issued a joint statement on international terrorism, expressing their condolences to the victims and their families, and reaffirming their determination to deepen cooperation: "We reaffirm our commitment to join forces to fight the plague of terrorism and underline the need to bring to justice those responsible for the attacks in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and other obligations under international law".
