The main objectives of this third Meeting are to: - adopt the internal rules of procedure of the Monitoring Committee - identify a first list of regional priorities on Research and Technological Development and of implementing actions in the context of Euro-Mediterranean co-operation (strengthening of existing scientific research capability, scientific co-operation, transfer of technologies), - adopt the Work Programme of the Committee for the next twelve months, - begin the preparation of the Second Ministerial Euro-Mediterranean Conference on Science and Technology, - agree on an identification system of Research and Technological Development capacities of the countries which are represented on the Committee and decide the orientations for launching an information system.
