Conformément à l’article 8, paragraphe 2, premier alinéa, du règlement (CE) no 509/2006, la demande d’enregistrement émanant conjointement de la République tchèque et de la Slovaquie, afférente à la dénomination «Lovecký salám»/«Lovecká saláma», a été publiée au Journal officiel de l’Union européenne (2).
Pursuant to the first subparagraph of Article 8(2) of Regulation (EC) No 509/2006, the Czech Republic and Slovakia's joint application to register the name ‘Lovecký salám’/‘Lovecká saláma’ was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (2).

Interpreting the same provision in the Act of Accession Treaty for the Czech Republic, Estonia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Slovenia and the Slovak Republic, the Court of Justice in a recent case C-161/06, Skoma-Lux sro v Celní ředitelství Olomouc, held that the obligations contained in Community legislation which has not been published in the Official Journal of the European Union in the language of a new Member State, where that language is an official language of the European Union, could not be imposed on individuals in that State.
