I am confident that all senators join with me, and with Senator Carstairs, who has spoken so passionately about disability issues in this chamber, in congratulating members and staff of the committee for identifying accessibility as a priority and to express the hope that in the not too distant future the Senate will be viewed by all Canadians as a model of equality and as one of the most accessible institutions in the country.
