Parallèlement au troisième programme d'achat d'obligations sécurisées (third covered bond purchase programme — CBPP3) et au programme d'achat de titres adossés à des actifs (asset-backed securities purchase programme — ABSPP), le PSPP constitue l'un des volets du programme étendu d'achat d'actifs (expanded asset purchase programme, ci-après «APP»).
Alongside the third covered bond purchase programme (hereinafter the ‘CBPP3’) and the asset-backed securities purchase programme (hereinafter the ‘ABSPP’), the PSPP is part of the expanded asset purchase programme (hereinafter the ‘APP’).
