It is to amend the Bank Act, the Co-operative Credit Associations Act, the Insurance Act, and the Trust and Loan Companies Act, dealing with the disclosure of information, the elimination of appeals in relation to certain matters, the disqualification of persons from becoming office holders of an institution, the taking of control of an institution by the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, and changes to the duties of the superintendent.
