les activités de volontariat dans le sport contribuent à la citoyenneté active ainsi qu'à l'intégration de citoyens venus d'horizons différents en favorisant, grâce au langage universel du sport, une meilleure compréhension et un plus grand respect mutuels et en contribuant à la mise en œuvre des valeurs et principes fondamentaux de l'Union européenne, à savoir la solidarité, le développement durable, la dignité humaine, l'égalité et la subsidiarité; elles œuvrent ainsi en faveur de l'identité européenne.
Voluntary activities in sport contribute to active citizenship and to the integration of citizens with different backgrounds by creating better understanding and respect through the universal language of sport as well as contributing to the implementation of the basic values and principles of the European Union, namely: solidarity, sustainable development, human dignity, equality and subsidiarity, thus promoting European identity.
