La cassure principale ne doit présenter aucun caractère de fragilité, c'est-à-dire que les bords de la cassure ne doivent pas être radiaux mais doivent être inclinés par rapport à un plan diamétral et montrer une striction dans toute leur épaisseur.
The main fracture must not show any brittleness, i.e. the edges of the fracture must not be radial but must be at an angle to a diametral plane and display a reduction of area throughout their thickness.
