La politique européenne de l’industrie spatiale devrait couvrir la totalité de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, y compris les PME, afin d’assurer une meilleure compétitivité internationale et la non-dépendance de secteurs stratégiques (tels que celui des lanceurs) ainsi que le développement d’un marché des produits et services spatiaux, notamment les nouveaux services satellitaires basés sur des infrastructures GNSS ( Global Navigation Satellite Systems ), GMES ( Global Monitoring for Environment and Security ) et de communications par satellite.
The European space industrial policy should cover the whole supply chain, including SMEs, to ensure greater international competitiveness and non-dependence in strategic sectors (such as launchers) and the development of a market for space products and services, notably new satellite-enabled services from GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems), GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security) and satellite communications infrastructures.
