Le programme vise à contribuer à la mise en œuvre de la stratégie »Europe 2020« et à la réalisation de ses objectifs en matière de développement intelligent et durable et d'intégration sociale grâce à un ensemble de mesures – notamment des activités d'analyse, des actions dans le domaine de l'apprentissage mutuel, le soutien des principales entités chargées de réaliser les objectifs du programme, la promotion de la mobilité des travailleurs au sein de l'Union et le soutien des microentreprises – destinées à favoriser un niveau d'emploi élevé, garantir une couverture sociale appropriée, lutter contre l'exclusion sociale et la pauvreté et améliorer les conditions de travail.
The Programme is intended to play a part in implementing the Europe 2020 strategy and meeting its smart, sustainable growth and social inclusion objectives by supporting a range of measures, including analytical activities, mutual learning activities, the provision of support to the main actors responsible for meeting the Programme’s objectives, the promotion of worker mobility within the Union and the provision of support to micro-enterprises, aimed a fostering a high level of employment, guaranteeing adequate social protection, fighting against social exclusion and poverty and improving working conditions.

Emphasises how the housing sector and, in particular the social housing sector, plays a contracyclical economic role through the reduction of energy dependency, support for the construction and renovation industries and, thereby, for sustainable local employment that cannot be ‘off-shored’, thanks notably to the labour-intensive nature of the sector, the development of green-economy segments as part of the local economy, and the knock-on effects on the rest of the economy; believes, therefore, that investment in social housing should be considered not only as an expenditure but also as a productive investment; further encourages the Member States to start a dialogue with the construction industry in order to develop a better business environment for, and better regulation of, social housing, with special regard to the establishment of residential building targets, the arrangement of infrastructural costs and supply of development land;

Notre programme fonctionne par l'entremise de réseaux soigneusement choisis d'organismes communautaires qui offrent une série complète de services de soutien incluant un tutorat assuré par des bénévoles, après l'école, pour les principales matières scolaires; un soutien social grâce à un groupe de bénévoles qui supervisent des activités visant à améliorer les compétences sociales, les compétences en communication, la résolution des problèmes et la planification de carrière. Cela comprend aussi une aide financière visant à réduire les obstacles qui empêchent de terminer la scolarité et à fournir des incitatifs tels que des tickets d'autobus et des tickets-repas pendant la participation au programme ainsi qu'une bourse que le jeune gagne en participant au programme et qui est payée aux établissements postsecondaires uniquement à l'achèvement du programme.
Our program operates through carefully selected networks of community agencies who deliver a comprehensive set of supports, which include academic support where volunteers provide after-school tutoring in core subject areas; social support where volunteers run group mentoring activities aimed at increasing social skills, communication skills, problem solving, and career planning; and financial supports aimed at reducing barriers to school completion and providing incentives, which include bus tickets and lunch vouchers while in the program and a scholarship that is earned through participation in the program and paid out to post-secondary institutions only on the completion of the program.

Points out that social enterprises require a maximum of support and acceptance through awareness–raising, not least by highlighting benefits beyond those of a purely economic nature, and calls for a broad information campaign, supported by the Commission, the Member States and social partners, to be launched by means of introducing an accessible, multilingual website that provides quick and easy information on social products and services for citizens;

It's a program based on peer support, a program that helps our CF members and veterans get better through the support and care of other men and women who have endured their own operational stress injuries, men and women who understand the anger, the frustration—the utter frustration—that comes from witnessing things so brutal and so inhumane that most of us simply can't begin to imagine them.
