(1) Si une personne a droit à une prestation de vieillesse en vertu de la législation de l’une des deux Parties sans recourir aux dispositions suivantes du présent Article, la prestation payable sous la législation italienne sera payable en territoire canadien; et si une personne a droit à une prestation de vieillesse en vertu de la législation du Canada, sans recourir aux dispositions suivantes du présent Article, ladite prestation lui sera payable en territoire italien, pour autant toutefois que ladite personne ait accompli en tout sous la législation du Canada, au moins vingt ans de résidence au Canada ou qu’elle ait accompli en tout sur le territoire des deux Parties au moins vingt ans de résidence — exprimés en années de résidence au Canada — totalisés conformément au paragraphe (4) du présent Article.
(1) If a person is entitled to old age benefit under the legislation of either Party without recourse to the following provisions of this Article, the benefit payable under the legislation of Italy shall be payable in the territory of Canada; and the benefit payable under the legislation of Canada shall be payable in the territory of Italy provided that either the number of years of residence in Canada under legislation of Canada total to at least twenty, or the periods of residence in the territories of both Parties aggregated pursuant to the rules referred to in paragraph (4) of this Article when expressed as years in Canada total to at least twenty.

Les dispositions du présent règlement relatives aux sous-produits animaux devraient s’appliquer aux produits impropres à la consommation humaine selon la législation communautaire, notamment aux produits non conformes à la législation sur l’hygiène des denrées alimentaires ou à ceux qui ne peuvent être mis sur le marché de l’alimentation humaine en raison des risques qu’ils présentent, parce qu’ils sont préjudiciables à la santé ou impropres à la consommation humaine (sous-produits animaux «en application de la loi»).
The rules on animal by-products laid down in this Regulation should apply to products that may not be used for human consumption under Community legislation, in particular where they do not comply with food hygiene legislation or where they may not be placed on the market as food since they are unsafe either because they are injurious to health or unfit for human consumption (animal by-products ‘by law’).
