Au sein du groupe socialiste au Parlement européen, nous devons reconnaître ne pas avoir concrétisé tout ce que nous aurions voulu, et à ceux qui s'insurgent aujourd'hui contre le fait qu'il s'agisse en fait de la constitution – j'ai lu dans quelques journaux britanniques que certains de nos collègues affirment que c'est essentiellement la constitution –, je suis au regret de devoir leur dire qu'ils n'ont lu ni la constitution, ni le traité.
We in the Socialist Group in the European Parliament have to concede that we have not achieved everything we would have liked, and to those who are now screaming again that this is now in fact the Constitution – I read in some British newspapers that a few of our fellow Members are asserting that this is essentially the Constitution – I must unfortunately say that they have neither read the Constitution, nor have they read this Treaty.
