Le Règlement (CE) N° 2411/98 du Conseil prévoit la reconnaissance mutuelle , par les Etats membres, du signe distinctif de l'Etat Membre d’immatriculation du véhicule pour autant que ce signe soit arboré conformément aux dispositions arrêtées en son annexe.
Council Regulation (EC) No 2411/98 provides for the mutual recognition by Member States of the distinguishing sign of the Member State in which motor vehicles are registered provided that these signs conform to the provisions laid down in the annex.
