9. reconnaît que les SIG sont fournis non seulement par le marché et les pouvoirs publics, mais également par la société civile; demande à la Commission et au Conseil, ainsi qu'aux États membres, de respecter et de soutenir le caractère propre et les contributions des organisations sociales qui proposent des SIG; attend néanmoins des autorités compétentes des États membres qu'elles surveillent la portée et les modalités des SIG proposés par les organisations sociales;
9. Recognises that SGIs are provided not only by the market and the government but also by organised civil society; calls on the Commission and Council and the Member States to acknowledge and support the distinctive nature and contribution of social organisations by whose efforts SGIs are provided; looks to the relevant authorities of Member States to monitor how and to what extent public services are given shape by social organisations;
