Cet accord complète l'accord initial conclu entre les mêmes parties le 13 mars 1990, qui prévoyait que les autorités autrichiennes accorderaient une aide équivalent à 33 % du montant de l'investissement, dans la limite de 1 430 millions de shillings autrichiens (105 millions d'écus), à Eurostar, coentreprise créée par Chrysler et Steyr-Daimler-Puch, pour l'installation en quatre étapes d'une usine automobile à Graz d'une capacité de production de 120 000 véhicules à usages multiples.

This agreement complements the original grant agreement between the same parties dated 13 March 1990 which foresaw that the Austrian authorities would grant the equivalent of 33% of the investment cost with a maximum of Austrian Shillings (ATS) 1,430 million (105 MECU) to Eurostar - the joint-venture between Chrysler and Steyr-Daimler-Puch - for the establishment over four phases of a car plant at Graz capable of producing up to 120,000 multi-purpose vehicles (MPV's).
