6. 6. The Commission will also be taking new measures designed to prevent and combat fraud : - the proposal to the Council is to be revised in order to make the control and monitoring of export refunds more effective; - arrangements for intervention storage are to be adjusted in the light of the findings of the special reports of the Court of Auditors; - Directive 77/435 is to be amended to tighten up the scrutiny of the accounts of undertakings receiving EAGGF Guarantee funds; - a proposal is to be made specifying the content and frequency of the reports to be sent to the Commission by the Member States concerning irregularities involving the structural Funds; - before the end of the year a draft European Customs Code will be presented.
