La proposition de décision-cadre contre la traite d’êtres humains approuvée la semaine dernière au Conseil émane de la Commission ; la communication sur l’immigration illégale, la communication sur les politiques de rapatriement et la communication sur la police commune des frontières figurent dans le score board depuis mai 2000 et incluent le programme de travail de la Commission, qui a été soumis au débat de ce Parlement cette année : elles ne découlent pas de mesures d’urgence à la suite des attentats terroristes, elles sont le fruit d’une politique cohérente et consistante d’immigration, qui constitue la politique de la Commission.
The proposal for a framework decision against trafficking in human beings adopted by the Council last week is a Commission proposal. The communication on illegal immigration, the communication on repatriation policy and the communication on the joint policing of borders have been on the ‘scoreboard’ since May 2000 and are part of the Commission’s work programme that was submitted for debate in this Parliament this year. These are not the result of emergency measures arising from the terrorist attacks; they are an integral part of this Commission’s coherent and consistent immigration policy.
