Il fait partie de la ligne d’accès au futur tunnel du Brenner et représente un maillon central du principal axe de transport ferroviaire nord-sud d’Europe, à savoir le corridor n°1 Berlin-Parlerme des réseaux transeuropéens (RTE).
It will form part of the approach to the future Brenner Base Tunnel and will therefore be a key component of the Berlin-Palermo TEN axis 1 − Europe’s primary North-South rail corridor.
